BadCompany (badcompany.co.za) is run by Zaiboon Gani, an individual based in South Africa ("we", "us"). When you use the site or buy a subscription, your agreement is with Zaiboon Gani.

By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it. You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian. If you use BadCompany for a company, you confirm you're allowed to act on its behalf.

Designers can read and submit reviews of interview processes and workplaces, join the talent pool and apply for jobs. Recruiters can post jobs and, with Pro, search candidates and message them.

Keep your login details private — you're responsible for what happens on your account. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

You must not:

• use the site for anything unlawful, defamatory or fraudulent;
• post spam, fake reviews or content you don't have the rights to;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property;
• interfere with security, spread malware, probe for weaknesses or scrape the site;
• copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, or get around its limits.

You keep ownership of what you submit. You give us a limited licence to host, moderate, display and process it so we can run the service. We can edit, redact or remove content that breaks our community rules.

The site, its software, design, scoring system and the BadCompany name and branding belong to Zaiboon Gani. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, renewal, cancellation and refunds are covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Recruiter Pro renews monthly until cancelled. Job postings stay live until the closing date the recruiter sets; a closed job can be unarchived for a once-off fee shown on our Pricing page.

We work hard to keep things running, but we don't promise the site will always be available or error-free. Reviews are personal opinions of members, not statements of fact by us. To the fullest extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" without implied warranties.

We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.

We can suspend or close an account for a serious breach of these terms, non-payment, fraud or security risks, or repeated rule-breaking. When an account closes, we delete or anonymise its data as described in our Privacy Notice.

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and South African courts have jurisdiction. We may update them; continued use means you accept the new version. Questions? Send us a message via our contact page.
